The Chittorgarh Fort : The Rajput style of architecture is clearly

the 8th to the 16th century. Named after Chittrangad Mauraya, the magnificent fort
rises 150 m above the surrounding region and runs to an approximate length of 3 km
covering an area of 60 acres and peripheral length of 13 km.
Ajmer : The city was founded by Raja Ajay Pal Chauhan in the 7th Century
A.D. and continued to be a major centre of the Chauhan power till 1193 A.D.
Historically, Ajmer always had great strategic importance and was sacked by Muhamad
of Ghazni on one of his periodic forays from Afghanistan.
Lalgarh Palace : The palace has beautiful latticework and filigree work,
which are hallmarks of a great craftsmanship. The exterior contrasts dramatically
with the oriental interiors and amenities. This architecture is a fusion of Rajput,
Mughal and European architecture.
Junagarh Fort : It is an unassailable fortress, which has never been
conquered. The imposing fort has 986 long walls with 37 bastions and two entrances.
An impressive fort in the city of Bikaner was built in 1559 AD by Raja Rai Singhji.
It is on of the few majors forts in Rajasthan.
